Frequently asked questions

We have collected the most common questions about our home care service. The answers will help you better understand how we work and how we can care for you or your loved ones.

Our care is for all residents or nonresidents over the age of 16 who due to illness, injury, disability, old age, or socio-familial difficulties need assistance.

A phone call at our office during the hours indicated or by writing an e-mail or filling out the contact form on this website is sufficient.

Sensitive data concerning our users are protected by professional secrecy. However, during intake, we often need to cooperate with other professionals assisting you. In addition, in order to proceed with the provision of care, we are obliged to forward the required documentation to your health insurance company. The cantonal physician's office can also view your health records if necessary.

For these reasons, we require your authorization to transmit data relevant to treatment.

The first assessment is always done by a nurse assessor. Thereafter, professionals will intervene as needed. All staff members will appear in uniform and have an identification card.

As a rule, we are not authorized to transport users. You can contact our staff or call our office and we will direct you to the appropriate service.

Our service operates 7 days a week. Outside office hours simply dial our phone number. An operator will collect your request and forward it to our nursing picket. You will be called back shortly.

Benefits that fall under the categories of advice and instruction, examination and treatment, and basic care will be billed directly to your basic health insurance while you will only receive a copy.

All benefits not recognized by the Health Insurance Act (HIA), such as home economics benefits, will be billed directly to you. However, you will be able to send the bill to your supplementary insurance or to the appropriate office in the case of supplementary benefits.

In consultation with your attending physician, our staff members' interventions can be modified according to your needs and requirements, based on your health status. If you would like to proceed with a modification of services, you can discuss this with your charge nurse.

If it is not an emergency, we kindly ask you to inform us at least 24 hours before the surgery.
